Well the aquarium looks particularily filthy here. At this point it holds about 100lbs of sand; that's Oldcastle (what used to be Southdown) tropical playsand.

The aquarium wasn't the only dirty thing. Fortunately after I made this mess, not only did I vacuum, but i also managed to spill gallons of water on the carpet necessitating the steam cleaner -- that did a great job of sucking up water, AND cleaning the carpet.
